KNUTSFORD

LandCorp selected the Knutsford Consortium, comprising Georgiou Capital, FJM Property and Mainpart Holdings as its development partner for this landmark project. Formerly an 11.3 hectare industrial site near the Fremantle city centre, the development will see the area transformed into a high-quality residential precinct.

The first stage of the project, bounded by Knutsford, Amherst, Blinco and Charmers Streets, comprises of 85 dwellings built over 1.6 hectares with stage 1A reaching completion of 23 dwellings in April 2015, and stage 1B of 36 dwellings commencing construction in June 2015, and the balance to follow in 2016 to complete Stage 1.

Knutsford features contemporary architecture from award winning Space Agency, headlined by Fremantle local Michael Patroni, designing a wide variety of accommodation options, from single residential dwellings and townhouses to grouped dwellings and apartments of varying types and sizes.

In addition to Georgiou Capital’s property development expertise, successful development track record and project funding, Georgiou Group Construction divisions will be responsible for various aspects of civil and building construction of the project on behalf of the Consortium.

Georgiou Capital is a key investor in the Glades Land Subdivision in Byford, WA. The project consists of 370Ha of land and is managed by LWP Property Group delivering a master planned community which will consist of 3,500 lots over 20 years.

The project commenced in 2006 and is recognised as the leading project in the South East corridor of Perth with 1,200 lots sold to date and a balance of 2,300 lots to come.

The project contains a private Catholic high school, public high school and primary school and will contain a soon-to-commence Coles Anchored Shopping Centre, in addition to a suburban shopping centre and medical centre.

The project has a lifespan of 20 years with anticipated completion in 2026.

PROJECT VALUE : $16M

The 3.3Ha urban infill site, located on the Kardinya border in O’Connor, formerly home to an English language college was developed into 40 housing lots and three grouped housing sites.
